Hadessa has been rescued from living with a complete male stranger in a one-room house after arriving in a foreign country separated from her family and parents. Where abuse is likely, Cindi’s Hope is able to bring her to a place where she will be protected and cared for.
How you can help – Be the change!
For $600 Cindi’s Hope can provide Hadessa with education, a safe place to live, and nutritious food daily. No more begging in the streets! Hadessa will be able to focus on her studies and learn the love of Christ in a safe, nurturing, Christian environment.

A Closer Look
Hadessa (name changed for safety reasons) is a 13-year-old Ethiopian refugee. She and her family were escaping Ethiopia where severe human rights violations are occurring daily against specific tribes. Excessive and lethal force is often used bringing charges of Civil Right Violations against the current government by the U.N.
In route to Kenya from Ethiopia, both her parents were taken away by local police. Hadessa remained on the bus alone as it completed its journey into Eastleigh, Kenya. Upon arrival, Hadessa was left to walk around the community begging for food and looking for someone who spoke her native language. As some days past, she came across another Ethiopian man who provided her with food and has brought her to Cindi’s Hope for schooling.
